Convex, expanding with age, often with a broad central bump, surface viscid, whitish to pale brown, centre darker, yellowish to ochraceous brown, to about 10 cm across

Spores almond shaped, warty, inamyloid (9.5-13) x (5-7) µm2. Gill edge cystidia clavate to broadly clavate, often slender and flexuose.
